Our system is built on a platform powered by an open source code infrastructure called WordPress. The platform is very connected with WordPress and all of the tools they make available throughout their network. The way WordPress handles user avatars/profile pictures is actually quite nifty, but requires an extra step in the beginning.
To get started, click here to go to Gravatar.com and set up a quick and free account. Once your account is set up, you can upload an avatar/profile picture and save. Make sure you use the same email address with Gravatar.com that you use here at RallyBuilder.
Once you save your avatar will be in place. What’s great about using Gravatar is that it adds your avatar to any WordPress powered site or product you use. Meaning, you’ll only need to make changes to your avatar at Gravatar.com if you want to change your picture across any WordPress sites you comment on, post on or do business with.
Note: We’re working on a script that will enable users to upload profile pictures directly into the profile. That said, we’ll always have Gravatar in place as it’s a great tool to use to manage your avatar across the web.
